ISDT Project
In this project typography represents different territories spaces, diverse ways to see cultures from Spain and Latino America. It determines what roll have Spanish and Latin-American people in the body copy represented in text.

Serif typefaces are used in the book representing old types as when in old centuries people used to conquer and slave foreigners and also shows its similarities with parchments from old centuries texts.

The typefaces were selected through a process of brainstorming where were imagined both typefaces with advantages and downsides confronting one to another one and from this were assigned different words as: Big, untied, different, weak, conquered, split, aboriginal, mix, small, trembling, employee, doubts, unique, focused, strong, united, conqueror, kings, lonely, well located, boss, strict and organized. These adjectives helped to create different effects, motifs and expressive typography.

Spanish texts are at the left side of the spreads while Latin-American texts at the right side but as you can notice Spanish texts will continue in Latin America side insinuating how Spain was conquering plenty Latin-American territories taking their spaces and spreading the language.

Headings will have Spanish typography making them highlight their importance as tittles should and will start on top of the hang line.
